Yes. The system can be transferred between compatible tractors, making it a flexible and cost-effective solution for mixed fleets.
The accuracy depends on the correction source you choose:
* WAAS/SBAS: 8–10 inches (20–25 cm) — FREE
* PPP: 2–4 inches (5–10 cm) — FREE
* RTK: Approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) — Subscription or base station required
The correction method you choose depends on the type of work you’re doing and the level of accuracy required.
RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) is the highest level of GPS correction available and provides repeatable accuracy of approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm).
This level of precision is ideal for planting, strip-till, controlled traffic farming, and other operations where repeatability is critical.
NTRIP delivers RTK corrections through the internet using a cellular data connection.
It is one of the most popular ways to achieve RTK accuracy without owning a base station. In most areas, NTRIP subscriptions are available for approximately $60 per month per tractor.
A base station is a GPS receiver installed at a fixed, known location that continuously calculates GPS correction data and broadcasts it to tractors operating in the field.
Think of it as your own private RTK correction source.
How does it work?
1. The base station is installed at a fixed location (farm, grain bin, shop, tower, etc.).
2. It receives signals from GPS satellites.
3. Because it knows its exact location, it can calculate satellite errors.
4. It broadcasts correction data via radio to tractors in the field.
5. The tractor receives these corrections and achieves RTK-level accuracy of approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm).

What range can I expect?
* V1 Mobile Base Station: Up to approximately 5 km (3 miles)
* V1 with High-Power Booster: Typically up to 10 km (6 miles), depending on terrain, antenna height, and operating conditions
Absolutely. GPS guidance performs just as well after dark as it does during the day. Many of our customers operate around the clock during busy seasons.
Yes. GPS guidance works in most weather conditions, including cloudy, foggy, and overcast days.
Yes. Many customers install the system themselves.
